Project Operations #6: Working and Non-Working Hours

Bookable resources working on a project must have a calendar of working and non-working hours to define their availability. Workings hours for a resource can be defined in two ways:

  • Define individual calendar rules for a resource
  • Apply an existing calendar template for the resource

In the previous blog, we learned Bookable Resources Skills and Roles

In this blog will learn about Bookable Resource work Hours and Calendar templates.

Working Hours

  1. Open the Project Operations Dataverse Environment.
  2. Change the site map to Resources from Projects.
  3. Click On the Resources table to see all Active Bookable Resources.

4. Open the Resource to set Working Hours.

5. click on the Work hours Tab.

6. Click on a Working calendar entry, then click on Edit and Click This and all following events.

7. On the Working hours pane, complete the following settings

Time: Change to Start 9:00 AM and End Time to 5:00 PM

Working Days: Clear Sunday and Saturday

Time Zone: Select (GMT+05:30) Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi

8. Click On Save.

Non-Working hours

9. Work hours tab Click on the calendar menu and select Non-Working.

10. Non-working hours pane, turn on All Day and click on the Calendar Icon, and Select January 26, 2023.

11. Click on Save.
